DE LA GARZA ARCHITECTURE was honored to partner with Spacestor on this important endeavor of co- achieving the goals of creating an open, attractive and effective showroom that communicates the uniqueness of their products. DLGA provided a combination of due-diligence, architecture and project management services to allow the project to advance quickly and effectively, while controlling the cost and timing in the process.
Spacestor is an office furniture company that offers modern and creative alternatives to standard office furniture and is based in the U.K. with U.S. offices in California and New York. The goal was to establish a 3500 sf showroom that would meet their needs in New York and allow for the presentation of their wide range of office furniture and interior products. DLGA worked closely with Designers from Gensler to develop a space that could accommodate flexible and interchangeable presentations of their products, flexibility in the electric at perimeter and provide high-quality lighting with zoned controls.
The Spacestor Showroom was recognized by Interior Design Magazine as an Honoree of the NYC X Design Award for 2020 and was also chosen as a Finalist for the Interior Design Best of Year Award.
