DE LA GARZA ARCHITECTURE LLC was the designer and project manager for the opening of a new showroom in New York City for the premier Australian based women’s clothing company, Camilla. The Camilla Brand is known around the world and has evolved to include women’s, men’s and children’s fashion, swim, accessories and home collections.  Camilla pieces are hand-cut, every crystal is applied with precision and every print is placed by hand. This space serves as their US headquarters, the majority dedicated to the presentation of their unique clothing to wholesale buyers.

DE LA GARZA ARCHITECTURE coordinated the purchasing, delivery and set up of the interior design for the Camilla showroom.  Custom mill work tables were fabricated for the large conference room and client seating area as the goal of the design was to create an intimate environment that feels more like a home than a commercial space.  The furniture selections were inspired by the organic and colorful feel of the brand.  Natural woods and bohemian styled pieces were selected for the space and embellished with colorful decorative pillows, fabrics and artifacts that convey the youthful, natural and vibrant style of the brand.   Mobile brass finished clothing racks line the walls to display collections and enhance the overall decor.  Just as each Camilla piece is renowned for its vibrant color, placement of detail and artistry, DLGA coordinated the interior design to covey the same emphasis on uniqueness, beautiful features and overall quality of craftsmanship.
