For this New York City office/showroom for the Australian women’s clothing company, Camilla, DE LA GARZA ARCHITECTURE LLC served not only as Architect, Interior Design Consultant and Project Manager but, above all, as the client’s trusted US partner. The Camilla brand, known for hand-crafted fabrication and vibrant colors and patterns in women’s beachwear, has evolved to include men’s and children’s fashion as well as accessories and home collections. This US headquarters space was to serve as both their offices, conferencing regularly with Australia, and as a showroom for US wholesale buyers.
DE LA GARZA ARCHITECTURE engaged with a trusted lighting designer to develop a flexible design to deliver the highest quality rendition of Camilla’s colorful products. Working closely with their designers, we successfully captured the design intent in the architecture and furnishings as well as custom-designed oak conference and meeting tables with integrated electronics.
