Anthropologie at Rockefeller Center

New York, NY

This unique store, by far the largest for this women’s clothing brand, was built in a 20,000 sf space that combined sales areas with a former theater at the heart of Rockefeller Center.

Javier de la Garza was Senior Project Manager for the contractor. In addition to the typical duties of the position, he took on the role of field architect, developing buildable and affordable solutions to unusual site conditions in the historic structure.

A design-sensitive partnership with the owner and designer allowed for value engineering determinations, management of the design effort, early sourcing of key components and the successful completion of the project.
