DE LA GARZA ARCHITECTURE LLC is proud to have been the Architect and Owner’s Representative for The White Company’s flagship store on New York’s Fifth Avenue. This is the first store in the U.S. for the iconic British lifestyle retailer.
Located in an historic Flatiron District building, the store design honors the original architectural details and introduces the brand’s timeless style to the U.S. The arched storefront and original double-height columns are integrated with a sequence of arched openings and crittall glass to define the retail spaces and the shoppers’ experience.
DE LA GARZA ARCHITECTURE LLC worked closely with the client to translate their design direction into a built store. Through careful planning and coordination of the many consultants, contractors and vendors, we managed the challenging approvals and construction process to deliver the project on time.
